How does discount campaign deactivation work? The app saves the values of the Price and Compare at price fields for each target product/variant before activation of the discount campaign and returns these values after its deactivation. If before activation of the app discount campaign some product already had a sale price (Compare at price value was not empty), then after the campaign is deactivated the app will return the same Compare at price value and the product will have the same sale price, as it was before app discounts.

Do I need to do something before uninstalling the app? What if I uninstall the app when there are active discount campaigns? You don't need to remove any code from the store theme. However, before uninstalling the app, you should deactivate all discount campaigns, otherwise the prices will remain unchanged in your store, as the app changes the actual prices.

How to change the sale badge text? Our app does not put any badges on its own - it completely depends on the store theme. Most themes have an option to customize the text of the sale badge in the "Edit default theme content" section. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes. Click the "..." beside the theme that you want to edit. Select Edit default theme content from the dropdown menu. Click the tab Products. Find the "On Sale" setting. Edit the text. Click Save. How to prevent customers from applying discount codes to products on sale?Shopify doesn't provide options to prevent application of a discount code to products on sale, but you can do that with our app in the following way. Apply the "no-discount" tag to all products in the store. Create a new collection (e.g., "No discount") with the condition Product tag is equal to "no-discount" . Edit your current discount codes to Applies to Specific collection "No discount" . Go to the app. Proceed to editing a discount campaign or creating a new one. In the campaign settings, select the Remove tags from target products with an active discount option and enter the "no-discount" tag there. And you're done.

App discount on some products is gone. What could be the reason? The most common reason for missing discounts on some discount campaign products after a while is price updates from outside the app. This may be due to price import, another app or tool that also updates prices (eg dropshipping tools). We recommend that you update prices when there are no active app discount campaigns. You can get back the app discounts that have been erased by price updates from outside by reactivating your discount campaigns (deactivate and activate again).

What products does the app discount apply to? When? The app discount applies to products/variants that are campaign targets at the time the campaign is activated. For example, if the campaign target is a specific collection, then discount is applied to products that belong to this collection at the time the campaign is activated. The app changes the prices of products/variants only at the time of activation or deactivation. It does not update prices in real time.
-
What if I add or remove some products in the collection with app's active discount? As long as the campaign is active, adding products to the target collection (vendor, product type, tag) or removing products from it will not affect anything (prices and discounts will not change). The app changes the prices of products/variants only at the time of activation or deactivation. It does not update prices in real time. If you still want to update prices for these products, then you need to Refresh the campaign. The app will add a discount to new products according to the targets and remove the discount (return the previous prices) from products that have left the targets.
-
How does the app change prices and apply discounts? The app creates sale prices and discounts by changing the values of the Price and Compare at price fields. It does this automatically for target products/variants in the same way as manual editing in the store admin panel, but much faster. Learn more about setting sale prices for products

How are discounts applied to products that belong to multiple active discount campaigns? Some product can be target for multiple discount campaigns, but only one discount can be applied to a product/variant. Discounts from different campaigns do not stack. If at the time of campaign (B) activation a product/variant already had an active discount from another campaign (A), then this product/variant is skipped and the discount of the current campaign (B) is NOT applied to it. Deactivating the previous campaign (A) will NOT apply the discount of the new campaign (B) - for this you need to Refresh the new campaign (B).
-
Why discounts didn't apply for some countries? The app creates sale prices and discounts by changing the values of the Price and Compare at price fields for certain products and does this only for the main price list. It cannot change custom prices for other markets. It only works if prices for other markets are set via "Price adjustment" in "Markets" settings. Set price adjustments for a country or region

What if I edit the prices of some products with app's active discount? It doesn't matter if the prices of the target products were somehow edited during the app's active discount period. After the campaign is deactivated, prices for target products/variants will return to the values they were before it was activated. Until the campaign is deactivated, prices will not be updated by the app in any way.
